Understanding and predicting molecular interactions involving proteins, modelling biological responses
The increasing quantity of experimentally determined protein structures and interactions has made it possible to predict protein structure, function, and interactions based solely on amino acid sequence information. While we are developing new methods using machine learning and other techniques, we are also focusing on the analysis of specific biological systems to provide hypotheses that can be verified by experimentation.
